Read the driver card

Read the driver card without a download key

The driver card has to be read out every 28 days. With VYS Tacho you do that wirelessly from the cab, with the phone you already carry.

The driver card holds 28 days of driving and rest times and must be downloaded within that period. Usually that needs a download key or a trip to the office, so only when the vehicle is in. Over Bluetooth it works without either: the card stays in the tachograph and the file arrives on the phone.

What you need

Just a phone

No download key, no cable and no terminal. Works on iOS and Android.

Nothing in the vehicle

Nothing is installed, so it also suits ADR vehicles.

A real DDD file

The same format an analysis bureau or the inspectorate expects.

Frequently asked questions

How often must the driver card be read out?

At least every 28 days. The card keeps that period; anything older is overwritten.

Do I need a download key?

No. The app reads the card out of the tachograph over Bluetooth, with a phone or tablet.

Is a company card required?

Not for the driver card. You read it while the card sits in the tachograph; the company card is for the vehicle unit.

Which tachograph is supported?

The VDO DTCO from Aumovio (Continental), a smart tachograph with Bluetooth.
