What we built, and what you use it for

Our apps

Everything below was developed in house by us. The tacho apps talk to the tachograph directly over Bluetooth; the planning apps belong to the VYS Scheduling platform. Under each app you can see where to get it.

Learning and practising

For the Code 95 course on the digital tachograph, and for anyone who wants to learn the buttons without a real truck.

VYS Tacho Simulator

A VDO DTCO 4.1 and a Stoneridge SE5000 that behave like the real device: inserting the card, manual entry, printouts, country codes, fines and the matching warnings. With assignments that follow along, a day planner, a knowledge base and a fines table per country. In twenty languages.

Reading out and operating remotely

These apps talk over Bluetooth to the smart tachograph (Gen2 V2, DTCO 4.1 and SE5000 Smart 2).

VYS Tacho

Read the driver card and the vehicle unit into a valid DDD file, without cables and without leaving the cab. The files land in the portal.

Tach’oClock

Takes over the job of the physical tacho timer: on your phone you see what the tachograph is doing and when your break or rest is due. An aid for making use of the sixty-second rule (Regulation (EU) 1266/2009), and with that a replacement for the physical Tachotimer 3 devices. Big plus: through the remote function the app can put the tachograph on rest by itself as soon as you come to a standstill.

The remote function only works with a VDO DTCO 4.1a or 4.1b running software version 04.01.40 or higher. With a Stoneridge you set the tachograph to rest yourself.

Tacho Easy Entry

Do the manual entry from your phone instead of with the buttons on the device. Only that one task, so you stop skipping it.

Works with a VDO DTCO only for the time being.

Tacho to Rest

If the tachograph jumps to work by itself while standing still, this app puts it back to rest or availability. That is all it does, and that is the point.

Works with a VDO DTCO only for the time being.

Tacho Remote

Operate your VDO tachograph from your phone: set the activity to rest, available or work, register loading and unloading, eject the card, make printouts and enter the start of the shift. What you press goes straight to the unit.

Planning and transport

The VYS Scheduling platform: planning, drivers, customers and the vehicle itself.

VYS BoardComputer

The tablet in the vehicle: the day schedule with all stops, scanning passengers and following the journey. Installed on the device, not through the store.
