What the app does
- A traffic light showing how much driving time you have left and when you have to stop.
- Makes the sixty-second rule usable: the rule from Regulation (EU) 1266/2009 under which a whole minute counts as the activity that lasted longest within it.
- Through the remote function it can put the tachograph on rest by itself as soon as you come to a standstill, so that minute really is recorded as rest.
- Sets both slot 1 and slot 2 to rest: the driver and the co-driver.

- Is a tacho timer legal?
- The minute rule itself is laid down in Regulation (EU) 1266/2009 and is simply the way a digital tachograph records. Using that rule is not the same as manipulating the tachograph. Whether an aid fits your situation is for you and your employer to judge.
- Does the app put the tachograph on rest by itself?
- Only if you switch that on. The remote function is off by default and works only after pairing.
- Does this replace a Tachotimer 3?
