What the app does
- Reads by itself: the driver card (the mandatory 28 days) and the tachograph memory (90 days).
- No FMS box and no dongle needed any more, and nothing has to be fitted in the vehicle. An iPhone or Android device is enough.
- Also suitable for ADR vehicles: nothing is fitted in the vehicle.
- On a VDO nothing has to happen in the cab. The phone or tablet that is lying there anyway is enough.
- The company card does not travel: it stays in a card reader at the office or in our card hotel and is read remotely.
- Talks directly to the smart tachograph over bluetooth: Gen2 V2, VDO DTCO 4.1 and Stoneridge SE5000 Smart 2.
- Produces a genuine DDD file, the same format an analysis bureau or the authorities expect, and puts it in the VYS portal.
- Tracking everywhere it matters: the trip is followed throughout the whole shift, also in the background and with the screen off, on the road and at every loading and unloading address. The points are buffered, so a stretch without coverage is not lost. During rest and outside the shift it stays off.
Who it is for
Operators who want to meet the retention obligation without making drivers come to the office or remember anything in the cab, and drivers who have to read their own card.
How you use it
- Pair onceFind the tachograph in the app and pair over bluetooth. You only do this once.
- Company card at the office or in the card hotelThe card stays where it is, in a card reader at the office or with us in the card hotel. The tachograph reads it remotely.
- The rest happens on its ownThe app reads the driver card and the tachograph memory as soon as it can, and puts the DDD file in the portal.
Where to get it
This app is not available in a store; it is rolled out through your organisation.
Frequently asked questions
- Do I need an FMS box or a dongle?
- No. Nothing has to be fitted in the vehicle; an iPhone or Android device is enough. That also saves work when a driver moves to another truck.
- Does it also work on ADR vehicles?
- Yes. Nothing is fitted in the vehicle; the reading goes over bluetooth from the phone or tablet.
- Does the driver have to do anything in the cab?
- On a VDO, no. The phone or tablet in the cab is enough; the reading happens in the background.
- Where does the company card have to be?
- In a card reader at the office, or with us in the card hotel. It does not have to travel.
- Which tachographs are supported?
- The smart tachograph (Gen2 V2), including the VDO DTCO 4.1 and the Stoneridge SE5000 Smart 2.
- Does the file stay valid?
- Yes, it is a genuine DDD file with the tachograph's signature; nothing is changed about it.
